"For me, there's a great appeal in starting over at any point in my history." (Nino Mustica, 2000)

THE MUSTICA LITZ STUDIO

The Mustica Litz Studio was founded in 2019 by Katharina Litz with the mission to preserve, promote, and continue the memory and artistic and creative thought of Nino Mustica.

Katharina Litz, originally from Germany (Biberach an der Riß, Germany, 1976), met Nino Mustica in 1997. She then moved to Italy, where she continued her training in industrial design and goldsmithing in Milan. Her professional career has spanned interior design, graphic design, visual arts, and plastics. Since 2006, she has shared her life and work with Mustica in his historic studio in Via Giovenale, becoming his wife and main collaborator.

From 1997 to 2018, Katharina Litz worked with the artist on numerous initiatives and projects, both in Italy and abroad. She actively contributed to the creation of the artist's works and the dissemination of his artistic language.

The Studio now curates the conservation and dissemination of Nino Mustica's artistic legacy through a digital corpus structured in two main sections: the catalog of works and the documentary archive. The Studio's goal is to make the artist's creative heritage accessible and usable for future generations.
